Hand Raised Cockatiel w/Play Yard in Saint Louis, MO

Gizmo is a hand raised male Cockatiel who is about a year and a half old. He has a very sweet and calm personality. He has not been handled very much over the last six months so he's a bit shy, but you can still get him to come out and sit on your hand. He had a cage companion for about 8 months, but unfortunately she died. We would like to see him in a home that has another companion, or has owners who will like to spend time with him on a regular basis. Our house is very busy - 4 kids, a dog, a cat, the bird - so Gizmo is very used to a busy, noisy household. He's probably the quietest of all the inhabitants. He is pellet fed and does not eat seed. I am asking $50. This fee will include Gizmo, any food we have on hand for him, and a 3 foot tall play yard built by my husband. It does not include his cage. We do have a cage that will fit him alone (I wouldn't put two Cockatiels in it) that we can sell for an additional $35 if desired. Cash only please. This price is firm and quite reasonable, so please don't ask for discounts.Please let me know a little bit about yourself and the family that Gizmo would be joining. Namely, things like: Have you owned birds before? Have you owned Cockatiels before? Do you have any other birds? Will Gizmo have a cage companion? What size cage do you have for him?
